BEFORE START
Before you start
Have a username, password and payment method ready, then decide which platform you will mainly use. The full setup takes place between the VPNDG user panel and the client for your platform.
VPNDG supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. This page focuses on the initial import process for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Linux users can also get the client and subscription from the user panel, then complete setup through the client’s subscription import option. Marketing pages do not provide direct installer links; client access is available from the user panel after sign-in so you receive the version and import details that match your account subscription.
If you are comparing monthly subscriptions and data packages, start with the plan details. Monthly options include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages remain available until used and never expire. You do not need to study protocol settings first—complete the account, subscription and connection flow, then adjust routes for your needs.
This page focuses only on how to get started. The trade-offs between Shadowsocks, VMess, Trojan, VLESS, Hysteria2 and TUIC, along with how direct, relayed and dedicated routes affect latency and stability, are covered in the protocol and route technical reference. There is no need to compare these concepts during initial setup.
ACCOUNT
Create an account
VPNDG does not require an email address. Set a username and password to create an account. Use the username to sign in later and the password to protect your plans, orders and subscription details in the user panel.
After opening the account creation page, enter the username you prepared and set a password used only for this service. Before submitting, check that the username is easy to recognize and that you have stored the password securely. Once the account is created, the page will open the user panel. If it does not, use the username and password you just set at the Sign in option at the top.
After entering the panel, stay on the account overview first. It shows your current plan, data status and subscription details in one place. For a new account without a selected plan, these areas may show that service is not active yet or direct you to the plans section; this is normal. Do not enter server addresses manually in the client or search elsewhere for configuration files. Go directly to the plans page next.
No email address required—start with a username and password.
Keep your account details under your own control. In particular, do not post the subscription link generated later in public groups, forums, screenshots or public documents, because it lets a client read the routes available to your account. On a shared device, sign out of the user panel when finished so others cannot see the subscription details.
PLAN
Choose a plan and place your order
Choosing a plan comes down to how you use data: consider a monthly subscription for regular use, or compare a permanent data package if your usage schedule varies.
Open the plans section in the user panel to see monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly data resets each month on the activation date, making it suitable for frequent use of international websites, AI tools or streaming. Data packages remain available until used, which suits irregular usage and cumulative consumption. All plans support unlimited devices, but the experience still depends on the route selected on each device and the network conditions at the time.
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB or ¥28/month with 500GB. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB or ¥658/3000GB. If you upgrade a monthly subscription during its term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Choose according to your usage frequency rather than selecting more data than you need for occasional use.
After deciding on a plan, choose Start in the relevant package, check the plan name, data allowance and price, then select an available payment method—Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT—to place the order. After payment, return to the user panel and wait for the order status to update. When the plan becomes active, the account overview will show the current subscription and available data. If it still shows the previous status, reopen the account overview to confirm; do not submit the same order again.
Check the data allowance, term and price before placing your order.
VPNDG provides a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. Confirm that the plan is active by checking the order and subscription status in the user panel. Once it is active, copy the subscription link as the next step so the client can read the routes available to your account during its first update.
SUBSCRIPTION
Get your subscription link
A subscription link is not an ordinary web address. It is account information that the client uses to read available routes and update its configuration. Once your plan is active, get it from the account overview in the user panel.
Open the account overview and find the subscription details section. Confirm that the plan shown matches the one you selected, then use the panel’s copy function to save the subscription link. You may paste it temporarily into a secure local input field to check that the beginning and end are intact, but do not submit it to a search engine or online text tool.
If a guide needs to show the link format, use an obviously fake value only. The address below is solely an example of what a complete URL looks like; it cannot connect to VPNDG and contains no real account information:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
The real subscription link must always come from the signed-in user panel. Do not edit its characters manually or copy only part of it. If the beginning, parameters or ending are missing, the client will usually report an invalid subscription, a download failure or a parsing error. When this happens, return to the account overview and copy it again instead of repeatedly changing protocols or routes.
View the current plan in the account overview and copy your personal subscription.
Once the subscription link is ready, install the client and import it. Clients are not downloaded directly from this page; get them from the download area in the user panel. This helps you avoid choosing the wrong platform version and lets you continue in a signed-in state with access suited to your account.
CLIENT IMPORT
Import on each platform
Get the client for your platform from the user panel first, then paste the link into the client’s subscription management area. The import has succeeded when the client displays a list of regional routes.
Windows
Open the download area in the user panel, choose the VPNDG client for Windows and install it as instructed. On first launch, look for Subscription, Configuration or Add, then choose Import from URL. Paste the complete subscription link copied from the account overview, save it and update the subscription.
After the update, the main interface should show regional routes such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Los Angeles, Frankfurt or Zurich. This indicates that the subscription was read correctly. If the list is empty, first check that the link was copied in full, then return to subscription management and update it once more. Do not enter server parameters from an unknown source.
macOS
Open the macOS client from the download area in the user panel and install the application. In the client, open subscription management, choose Add Remote Subscription or Import from URL, then paste the complete subscription link. Save it and trigger an update, waiting for route names to appear before continuing.
When macOS establishes a network connection for the first time, the system may ask you to confirm network permissions. Read the system prompt and complete the authorization normally, then return to the client and choose a route. If the client shows routes but cannot connect, turn off the current connection, choose another route and try again.
Android
Sign in to the user panel on your Android device and get the relevant client from the download area. Open the client, go to its configuration or subscription page, choose Add via Link, paste the complete subscription address and save it. Then tap Update or Refresh and wait for the regional route list to load.
The first time you connect, the system will display a network connection confirmation screen. Confirm it and return to the client, then check that the connection switch stays on. If you see only a configuration name after importing the subscription and no routes, open that subscription’s action menu and update it instead of creating multiple identical subscriptions.
iOS
Sign in to the user panel on your iOS device and open the applicable client entry in the download area. After installation, find the client’s subscription, configuration or Download Configuration from URL option, paste the subscription link from the account overview and confirm. After updating, the client should show selectable regions on its policy or route page.
The first time you connect, iOS will ask you to confirm adding a network configuration. Follow the system prompts, then return to the client, choose a route and connect. If the connection status changes after switching apps, reopen the client to check the current route and switch before verifying the exit.
After signing in, get the client and account subscription for your platform; public direct installer links are not provided.
Whatever platform you use, the correct order is to install the matching client, import the subscription and then update the route list. Once the client displays regional routes, the account-to-client transfer is complete. Next, simply choose a route, connect and verify the exit.
CONNECT AND CHECK
Connect and verify
Routes appearing in the client does not mean the connection is active. Choose a route, turn on the connection switch and check the exit information to confirm that the full process is complete.
For the first connection, start with a nearby region that matches your purpose. Choose Tokyo for services in Japan or Hong Kong for a Hong Kong exit. For other international services, adjust the route to match the service’s region. Direct, relayed and dedicated routes have different link characteristics, but you do not need to test each one at first—choose a route that appears healthy in the client and connect.
Turn on the client’s connection switch after choosing a route and wait for the status to show Connected. Then open the IP lookup page and check whether the current exit region matches the route you selected. Base verification on the actual change in exit information, not just the client button color. If the exit is still your original network location, disconnect, choose another route and reconnect. Also check that no other similar tool is taking control of the network.
After connecting successfully, open the website or app you actually plan to use. If a site works but a specific service reports a region mismatch, try a route matching that service’s region. If no websites open, first check that the client still shows Connected, that the subscription has been updated and that the underlying network can access ordinary websites.
Once verification passes, initial setup is complete. In daily use, open the client, choose the region you need and connect. You do not need to import the subscription link again each time; when the route list changes, update the existing subscription.
DAILY USE
Daily use and common fixes
After the initial import, daily tasks mainly involve updating the subscription, switching routes for different purposes and following a consistent checklist when the connection fails.
Once the client has saved the subscription, do not repeatedly create the same configuration. To refresh routes, open the existing subscription’s management menu and update it. To change regions, select a new region from the route list and reconnect. Multiple devices can use the same account’s active subscription, but keep the subscription link only on your own devices.
If connection speed differs from usual, first identify which layer is affected. If the underlying network cannot open common websites, restore the local network first. If the client cannot update the subscription, check the account plan status and the link’s completeness. If only certain websites behave differently, try a route near the target region. This order makes the cause easier to identify than changing several settings at once.
Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date; check the current status in the account overview. To upgrade, open the plans section in the user panel; the price difference for an upgrade is converted into remaining days. Data packages remain available until used and never expire, so you can use them according to cumulative consumption without regularly re-importing the subscription.
If the client reports a subscription parsing failure, return to the account overview and copy the complete link again. If the route list looks normal but connection fails, update the subscription and try another route. If you are connected but the exit has not changed, close other similar network tools and verify again. If the cause is still unclear, submit a ticket from the user panel and include the platform, client status, selected region and checks already completed—never include the subscription link itself.
